The return of Capsi Chat!

The year was 1996 and Rob programmed a chat room. It was called Capsi Chat and if you were lucky enough to roam the Internet in those days: it was a telnet haven. A niche, but nicely complementing IRC nonetheless. Then came ICQ and Yahoo. Eventually even Microsoft caught on with MSN. Havens were no more and people moved on.

The year is 2008. Rob noticed some users on Capsi were sending each other profile comments and private messages so often that it seemed like what they really needed was a chat. So Rob copied some code from his personal site and improved it where necessary, until it was ready: the new Capsi Chat! No downloads or technological knowledge required: just click on the Chat link on the top of the page and you're ready to go!

At the moment the chat is very basic: no rooms, no private messages, no nothing. Just a box with messages and an input line to type away naughty and intelligent thoughts. From now on, use profile comments and private messages when your friends are not on-line. Use the chat to.. chat!

The Capsi Chat is back. Enjoy!
